Next Sunday we will be speaking at a Polish church here in Hamburg. We will share our story about how we came to Germany and I will be preaching as well. This is another example of how God's ways are not our ways. When I think about the fact that an American from Los Angeles, living in Germany, ends up preaching at a Polish church here in Hamburg, it just makes me laugh.
I met the pastor of this church a few months after we moved here as we both were going to a bible study that a friend of mine led down near the Reeperbahn. We had some great times together as we had German, Polish and Americans trying to communciate, pray and worship with one another....those were really special times.
I saw the pastor again about a couple months ago and he asked me if we would come and speak at his church. We are looking forward to it and if you would pray that we will be obedient to share what the Lord puts on our hearts for that time I would really appreciate it.
