I have a friend here in Hamburg who works in one of the red light districts and I will just call him "Mr. Big". He is about 6'5 or 6'6, 275lb. or so, a former heavyweight boxer and as I told him the first time I met him "Man, you have the biggest hands of anyone I have ever seen in my life!". As you may have guessed, a guy that big who works in the red light district is probably doing security or something like that and you would be right. Those of you who read this care about what we doing here and that is why I wanted to tell you about him.
Mr. Big is a good guy with a great personality, loves his family, has a truly amazing life story and does what he needs to do to survive.
I want Mr. Big to come to know Jesus. Like many people he has seen too much "religion" and he is turned off by it. I totally understand that and "religion" can be ugly. But, Jesus is not. Jesus never told us to look to religion, Jesus told us to look to Him. And my simple prayer for Mr. Big is that he would come to know Jesus (not religion) and that he would be born again by the power of the Holy Spirit. There is no greater joy than coming to know our Savior who died and shed his blood for us.

I will certainly offer a prayer. What a victory for righteousness is he is won to Christ. And think of the potential for others he could lead out of darkness.
