as i was looking over these shots
that i took of the kids
firing water off at each other
at a park we went to a few weeks ago
and thoroughly enjoying
being the shooter and the receiver,
it made me think:
how good it might be
for us as adults
to LiGhTeN uP
a bit
like how great would it be if
when we get bothered by someone
at home or at work or wherever...
we would all just
put on our swimsuits
(and not care how we look in them)
and just fire away
and
run around
and
LAUGH
and let all of the little irritations
we have with one another
be like water off a duck's jose's back

kinda thought i had
that made me smile
as i imagined a bunch of adults
that should be very serious
running around and
trying to squirt eachother with water

AgReeD! Nothing better than a bunch of adults realizing that life is to be EnjoYeD!!! If I could have, I'd have written that last word upside down! Recently heard a pastor talk about a party that ended up with a guy tossing someone with some cake, and it all fell apart from there... People had more fun they'd had in years. We need to loosen up to have joy in our responsibilities!
One of my favorite post. I always say to myself when I see children enjoying the littlest things in life and wish I could be a kid again for a day and run and play and scream and make funny faces whenever I feel like it!! I love you all sooooo much!!
