a friendly remEYEnder

a few weekends ago

we went out into the countryside.

as i was strolling along fields of this....

i couldn't miss these...

(nor could the bees)

there was a sign in front of the field that let it be known that you could cut the flowers yourself, with prices listed (it was about .80 cents per sunflower) and that you should leave your money in the tin can provided

at the bottom of the sign it says,

"Nur bezahlte Blumen

bringen Freu(n)de!"

which means, i think,

"Only flowers that are paid for

bring joy (and friends)!"

but what caught my EYE the most was the picture of eyes looking straight at you, as if to creep you out if you were even thinking of stealing a flower and not paying.  if you didn't want to pay for a flower that will in turn bring you joy and/or friends, you'd better pay regardless, because someone's eyes are on you. 

but then the best part

was that to the right of the eyes,

it reads

DANKE!
