Stirred, DREAMing & Praying

Our hearts were stirred this weekend, big time. Perhaps they need to tamed by the gracious hand of our God--or maybe they don't.  You see, after this past weekend, they have been acting a little DREAMy.  We went on a retreat with some leaders from our church.  But what has captured our hearts was not about the retreat at all--as great as it was.  It was the place where the retreat was held. 

THE PLACE...

is just outside of Hamburg

is pretty

is green

is spacious

has lots and lots of rooms

...and since 1919
 has been used as
a home and refuge
for women
coming out of prostitution
from the Reeperbahn.

Have you caught your breath yet?
We really haven't.
But our hearts are beating somethin fierce.

For the past year,
they have had no women.
They have been
waiting and praying
for a new leader
to lead this ministry.
To radiate the love of Jesus.
To live here full time.

Be still our hearts,
Be still
If this is not His will

But if it is then
Tame our hearts
Until the time is right
For them to
Burst forth into
SONG
