stitched with L-O-V-E

my friend heather and her two lovely daughters put their hearts and hands together in LOVE for the women in the brothels

heather emailed me and said she had a bunch of extra fabric and said she wanted to create something special for the women with it. like maybe a little something we could give the women for their birthdays or for a special occasion.

it seems like as soon as i replied with  a resounding YES! i received these lovely bags in the mail.

they open like so

and fold over

to close with a button.
they each are distinct in detail.
they are
so, so
LOVE-ly

and each has a hand-stitched heart attached

which were stitched by her girls,
emma & grace
*two of my very favorite young ladies!

they prayed as they stitched, that the LOVE of God for and toward these women would somehow be transferred into the hands of the ones to receive these 'small gifts made with great LOVE.'

i am still so touched by this offering of tangible LOVE

it was my great delight to give out our first bag to one of the girls we are becoming close to in one of the brothels. she begged us for a bible in her language, and so the next week we found one for her and wrapped the bible in one of these bags.  it fit perfectly.

T H A N K
Y O U,
heather
emma
&
grace

for your
LOVE
for these dear women
