kinda haveta

when your friend cheryl comes to visit allllll the way from california, there are certain things you just kinda haveta do. 

especially if she is the type of friend who is just as excited as we are about this DREAMy property that may be where God is calling us to live.  you just kinda have to check it out.  even if it isn't the place for us, ya just kinda haveta see it anyway.  so you take a bus, train and then another bus to get there. and as you can see, we were all smiles about it.

i mean, if you see visions like this out of the bus window, how can you not smile ear to ear? you just kinda haveta.

and if then after the busride you have to walk quite a ways along this type of stuff to the special place, you do it, quite happily, in fact.

and if along the way you see a bunch of friendly cows, you stop and say hello. and if one of them wants to give you a smooch, well you just kinda haveta let em do it.

and if along the bumpy dirt road walk to the place your daughter falls asleep

with her hands perfectly folded as if she was in prayer before she nodded off, you kinda haveta take a picture of such an occurence.

and then if when you enter the property you kinda haveta make sure you're still breathing because of the beauty that surrounds you, then that's what you have to do.  and if your friend keeps saying things like,

"this is amazing.

absolutely amazing.

i can't believe it.

it's AMAZING, krista."

then you just have to let her say such things.

and if you see a cute little gazebo and your friend allll the way from california says,

 "hey, let's take a picture in here and pretend like you live here and i've come for a visit and we're sitting here having tea and a deep talk"

then you kinda haveta to do it.  friends are allowed to think up such fun and DREAMy things like that to do.
