we know, we know
this week's subject matter has been a bit
HEAVY
so let's lighten up the party and talk
METT
what's METT, you ask?
great question
and we don't know if we'll be much help in answering
to our knowledge, METT is
some type of raw, ground, sausage or beef
spread on a tasty roll
topped with raw onions and chives
the key word here is
R A W
take a hint from the picture above
if buddy enjoys this stuff
please note that his eyes are closed
as if to say
"oh, i can't wait to take a bite of this METT.
this is heaven."
we don't know if METT is a german thing or a northern german type of hamburg thing. our german readers can help us with what it really is and who eats this delicacy.
one of my closest friends told me, hamburgers go crazy over METT. she said if there was a nice party and there was a tray of METT, it'd be the first thing to go. maybe like sushi in L.A.?
and like not all angelenos are sushi fans, not all germans are METT partakers.
as for these 4 hamburgers, let's say eating raw sausage-beefy stuff is a guy thing. i will not dare take a bite. no thanks. no siree. grace had no desire when it was graciously offered to her.
jose, however,
almost bit buddy's ankles in order to have more
as we were walking down the street.
almost.you know what i mean.
he liked it.
he liked it.
(we don't know if raw meat
is the best thing to feed a child,
but he sure did enjoy it and
he didn't show any signs of illness. hmmm...)
what do you think?
if you're a german, are you a fan?
if not,
would you try a bite of it?

Umm, I'll pass, but thanks for the offer. :)
I just asked my German friend and she says that it is beef. And I'll pass too, thanks.

It can be either, beef or porc. I don't eat it and I am a northern German. But it is true... if you go for a traditional supper or buffet it has to be there.
