the $10 Pop-Tart

with buddy's consumer foods background, he still can't help himself when he enters a supermarket. it's fun for him to cruise the aisles and look with a discerning eye. however, he was very proud of this find and was convinced that a photo was in order and that we had to share the dirty details.

$6.40 euro = $ 10.00 american dollars

yikes.

you can buy them on sale in the u.s. for $1.88

good thing we're not big Pop Tart fans.

postscript: i wrote this about 2 months ago but didn't post it; thankfully, now the dollar has gained a little ground and now a box would cost around $9. still pricey but better than $10!
