Hope Can Hurt

It can hurt to hope sometimes
To hope on behalf of someone else is to care, to love
It's almost like
you put your heart out on your sleeve for them,
because they can't do it on their own

HOPE

I will be honest and share
my heart is hurting right now
I'm sad
I had 5 amazing God-filled encounters with Hope
But now,

I don't know
where she is
what she's doing
how she's being treated
who she's with
if she's safe
if she's hurting

I do know
that our last night together was very special

that she left hamburg the next day to meet her 'boyfriend' in a different city in germany

that she was given a glimspe of the extravagant love God has for her

that seeds were planted

that God's Word doesn't return void

that God answered all of our many prayers and will continue to answer them actively in her life

that the God we serve promises that when He starts a work in someone's life that He be will faithful to complete the work that He began

Thus,
although i am sad and heavy hearted
i still have HOPE
God is not finished with her yet
and whether it's on this side of heaven or the other
i truly believe i will see her one day again
and the outcome will be nothing short of
HIS GLORY

Hope Can Hurt
It does hurt
But i'm convinced
every ounce of it is worth it

It is totally worth it. Though I can't understand your exact pain, I can sympathize with you. God knows exactly what will happen with Hope, and His glory will be shown through it.

Beautiful Krista, thanks for your sharing! I don't give up Hope either -- His plans are full of love :-)
