on monday i went to my friend anja's--she and her family live out in the countryside of hamburg (i did a post in may about her family). she lives so far out that the train doesn't even go there...so she always has to come and pick me up at the last train station near their tiny village (that is one street long) and then we drive through the countryside for about 10 minutes before arriving at their home. these shots were taken as she drove me back to the train station after our special time together. the trees and colors were so astounding i had to get out my camera, and from the front passenger seat i thought i got some pretty good shots. anja said that by the end of next week all these leaves will have fallen to the ground and the trees, and countryside, will be bare. so thankful i got to see it all in its glory!
