HaPpY tHanKsGiVinG !!!

We are so very THANKFUL for each of YOU!

Germans obviously don't celebrate Thanksgiving, so we can't say it feels like it over here. It's a regular ol Thursday and it's a bit cold and gray outside. However, we are having our own mini American Thanksgiving celebration here with our Hauskreis (home group gathering) tonight.

BUT we are missing our moms' homemade cooking!
Send over some leftovers, PLEASE!
Especially Buddy's mom's sausage stuffing and
Krista's mom's cranberry sauce,
that we just can't happen to find over here.
Mmmmm
And while you're at it, can you send over some of this, please?

They don't really make turkey over here so tonight we have to have some premade little turkey breast thing and have to make gravy from a packet...ewww! Are you feeling sorry for us yet? And could that be green bean casserole in the background? Cuz we could use some of that, too.

Can you hear our stomachs growling over the internet?
Listen very closely...

But we are THANKFUL. Oh yes we are!

See, below, here's Jose doing his I'm Thankful & Very Happy DANCE on the swing. Gotta love his spontaneous dancing. Couldn't imagine life without it. See, we're thankful!

Hope your day is special and that you feel extra blessed for all our good God has so richly given all of us. Again, we are especially thankful for YOU, our family and friends, who we love so very much.

And don't forget to send over the leftovers. Thanks ;)

With love,
the Brewers in Hamburg
