we had some friends over on sunday afternoon for kaffee und kuchen (coffee and cake). we plopped in the winnie the pooh video so the kids adults could enjoy themselves. after a while, jose was up and about, but grace...
...well, grace was mysteriously quiet. not moving a bit. after closer inspection, it was confirmed: she had fallen asleep in her chair. she's at the age (3+1/2) where she still needs an afternoon nap, yet if we give it to her she won't fall asleep until 10pm (which is not an option).
thus, sometimes out of sheer exhaustion, she steals a little nap. we thought it was pretty cute.
