BUDDY'S Prayer Update

Keep praying people—Someone is listening! :)

We’ve had a breakthrough with BUDDY’S and we are so encouraged. The manager said he would contact the owner for us, and yesterday we received an email from the owner, asking us “What can we do for you?” in regards to renting BUDDY’S. We’ve been trying to get in contact with the owner since February, so this is a huge step in the right direction for us.

As you may imagine, we were so excited to get the email—we were all smiles, all day. The next step is for us to secure a lunch or coffee date with the owner. We really want to meet with him in person so he can get to know us before he even considers if he would rent out the bar to us or not. So that’s your next homework assignment.

Last night Rachel and I went to BUDDY’S and dropped off flowers (below), chocolate and a thank you note to the manager for getting us in touch with the owner. Here we are on the subway ride home. It was nice to see him and it went very well. We hope you are as encouraged as we are at this most exciting answer to prayer.
