Just wanted to say thank you to those who prayed for Mr. Intensity and give you an update about my time with him this morning. Just to clarify...Mr. Intensity does not "come" to the Bible study, he just happens to be there during the time that I have the Bible study in the bar in the red light district.
I saw him this morning and he had absolutely No intensity....but that is a good thing. What I mean by that is that I saw a guy who is realizing in a deep and painful way that the decisions he is making and the struggles he deals with are really controlling his life and jeopardizing his career as well. I do not say this lightly but this was a totally different man than the past 3 times I have met him. There was a humility, honesty and a desperation about him that I have never seen before and that is truly a beautiful thing for him. Painful, yes, but so good for him. It seems like God is really doing something significant in his life right now and to see it happening this morning, right in front of me, is simply awesome. This is another example, in a long line of them, where God's ways are not our ways and I am so grateful for that.
Be encouarged that your prayers are making a difference in the life of this man. Please continue to pray for him as what is going on right now is only the beginning.

Thanks for the update. We may just read here in a couple of years (or maybe a few months!) that you have led him to Christ. God bless.
