miriam was the kids' babysitter this past year. she was recommended to us by my friend nina who is very particular about babysitters, and she generously decided to share hers with us (danke, nina!). from the very beginning jose and grace loved 'miri.' we tried to have miri about once a week so we could go on a date nite...and when we'd arrive home the kids would be all wound up from having way too much fun. :)
our miri, unfortunately for us, just left last week to go to school in the u.s. for a year and also to live with a family to be their part time nanny.
this pic was taken a few days before she left. the kids and i took her out for a farewell lunch. we will miss our miri but we are so excited for her new adventure...and now we are on a new adventure of trying to find a new babysitter (it's not easy!). you can pray for us for that :)
