is so much fun !!!

we are eating up every bite of summer.  the kids and i have been at the park just about every day, having summer fun, doing what kids should do when they're kids and it's summer :). they are having a ball. 

we come home every night around 6pm, thoroughly exhausted from the heat and sun (just as i told you a typical summer's day here is 75*, the past two weeks it's been in the 90's!). we eat dinner, i give the kids a bath and scrub them clean of sand and sticky hands and dirty feet, and by 7:30pm at the latest they are fast asleep.

apart from the kids and i hangin out during the day, buddy and i are in a busy season right now.  it seems like as soon as the kids are asleep we are not far behind. we are tired, too!  buddy's going to school 5 days/wk to learn german and with all of our ministry stuff going on (4nts/wk + buddy's early morning bible study on the reeperbahn at 7am), we are pretty maxed out...but in a good way. 

 i have so, so, much to share with you--i have about 20 blog posts in my mind--encouraging stuff--our God is moving in incredible ways--but lately it's been so busy i barely have enough time to keep up with the laundry and the dishes. and being on top of emails? forget it. i am weeks behind. 

 my heart right now is with my Kinder, just delighting in spending time with them, smiling at the simple joys of them pouring water on my feet or on their heads, in awe as they climb tall slides and whiz down like big kids, grinning ear to ear as i hear them LAUGH...this is the important stuff of their little lives that i don't want to miss. 

so for now, enjoy the summer pics of the kids. and when i have some free time and feel inspired to write and compose some meaty posts...i have lots of good stuff to share.
