Okay, so I was just having a lil fun with you...all of that above to let you know that we're currently SEEKing the dream home I've been dreaming about for years--for our family and for women coming out of prostitution. I want to clarify that this has been a dream of mine--and I am not saying that this is what God wants for us--and if this is not His plan for our lives then we don't want it anyway. But for right now, for whatever reason, we feel we are supposed to begin seeking it out.
We are wanting to find a property, a big old farm or home, an old pension (a family style motel) or some type of land in the countryside of Hamburg where we could house not only ourselves but many women. I am thinking maybe 15-20 women at a time. We would have them become part of our home--and part of our family for a season of their lives. And I dream of teaching them the ways of God while at the same time offering them the help they need from the trauma they have experienced--professional counseling, horse therapy, job and language training, and Bible school. I know, these are big dreams, but I dream, and IF this is all the will of God, we need to find a property to house this dream into reality.
I share this with you so you can be part of the story--by your prayers. If this is a dream in the heart of God as well, we will all see it come to fruition. What a glorious day that would be. For now, we invite you to join us in prayer.
I must admit that it is so intimatidating living in a foreign country and trying to find a big property out in the countryside. I am using the resources we do have and am trying to find the help we need.
If this is a God thing, He wants it for us--and for the women--more we than we do, so I am sure He will help us in this. However, when we need help, or when we simply have a request, our good and faithful God asks us to pray to Him.
It would be our honor if you would join us in this great endeavor.

I'll be praying. Have you ever read "Sisterchicks in Wooden Shoes"? There is a similar home in that novel, a country haven for women to recover and rebuild with the Lord.
That is so awesome! I just found your blog today from Sugartails and LOVE your mission. This brought me to tears to see your heart for Lord to be Glorified in Germany in this way!
