a RECIPE for sticky sweet fun

ingredients for a fun but messy activity
especially for when it's snowing outside
and you need something constructive to do with the kids:

ready made gingerbread house in a box
+ royal icing
(2 egg whites & about 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar)

+ an adorable little boy (i mean, chimney)

add lots of sugary goodness

+ gumdrops just sound christmasy so ya gotta use 'em

don't forget the necessary taste testing

use toothpicks to hold it all together until the icing dries

expect really sticky fingers

and face and hair and table and floor and chairs...

add your very own personal finishing touches

and you're done! pretty as a picture, wouldn't ya say?

store up, up and away in a nice, locked cabinet to avoid more sticky fingers, sticky floors, etc.
