Let's DREAM!

(BUDDY) I am putting myself out there on this one but I know those who take the time to read our blog are our closest family/friends and you want to know the truth about what is going on with us, so I think it is appropriate if I share from my heart. I am not generally a big “Dreamer”, probably because it is not practical enough for me or I don’t want to go there because I will be let down or look like a failure if my dream does not happen. My thoughts are changing about how I look at following my dreams but that has been how I have looked at them in the past. Well, one thing God has called us to here in Hamburg is to “Dream” and to “Dream Big”. Wisely so, Krista asked me this week to share with her my dream for BUDDY’S (the bar on the Reeperhahn in the Red Light District that we are interested in). Like I said, I am not a natural "Dreamer" so I am so grateful Krista asked the question.

I went to a local coffee shop and just started writing, from my heart and I wanted to share it with you. I did not edit it at all as I just wanted to share it with you in its raw form as it came passionately and easily off my pen. It can be dangerous to dream but I have to say actually putting it on paper is very life giving.

I encourage you to put your own personal dream(s) down on a piece of paper today. It is a bold and courageous move on your part but trust me when I say it will be a very powerful and stretching experience as well. Have fun...

DREAM for BUDDY’s (August 26, 2009)
That it would be 20 or 50 times its current size and that beautiful and glorious worship to our Father would flow out of that place. People would come and be touched and transformed by Him. They would fall in love with Jesus. They would be born again. We would study the Bible and we would share life. We would pray and we would love. And we would go! But praise would be so critical. Praise to the King! Glorious Praise. Real Worship. People would be transformed in His presence. It would be a flow of Godly worship. Honor and praise to the King! THE PRAISE HOUSE. Different types of worship but one focus, it must be about Him! It is a place of glory, a place of true glory. A place of honor. If you want to Praise Him, come. If you want to honor Him, come. Just come. He is the healer. He is the transformer. He is the renewer of our souls. He is that. He is that. He is that. We praise. We praise! Bible study. Community. We will pray but we will praise Him.
