(Buddy) I attended a conference this weekend for people who have a desire to start churches/ministries in Hamburg. A conference like this has never happened before in Hamburg and I felt fortunate to be a part of it. Information about our desire to start something in the Reeperbahn (Red Light District) at BUDDY'S Bar was part of the presentation that was given out to everyone who attended. There were about 50 people there and it was great to connect and meet other people who have a similar heart as we do for Hamburg. Hamburg is a city of 1,800,000 people and about 20,000 Christians (approx. 1%) so the need for ministries/churches is huge in this city. I was also encouraged that I already knew about 15 of the 50 people that attended and for someone who has only been here for 6 months that is really amazing. I give God all the credit as He has led and guided us the entire way and opened up so many opportunities to meet and connect with people, it is truly humbling. Thank you for those of you who continue to pray for us, as there is nothing more powerful that you could do for us.
